SABmini App Reviews

Excellent app with responsive dev

The app is very well-designed. I have been in touch with the developer to report a bug and he responded within 24 hours. Definitely would recommend this over all other sabnzbd apps. Unfortunately, he told me that Apple is blocking updates because the app could potentially be used for "illegal purposes".

Awesome app!

I cannot live without this app. It kicks serious butt. Its my middle shortcut on my dock! Enough said.

Needs apache/proxy pass fix

Doesnt work of you have the services behind apache/ssl proxy pass. Qouch works with my setup.. But Id prefer to use this.

Disappointed

Unfortunately this app never worked. I tried everything and contacted customer support but it was never able to connect to my server. Sad. I really wanted this to work.

Thanks for the iPhone 5 support in the update!

Thanks for the iPhone 5 support in the update! Awesome app. works exactly as described once you have everything set up. The instructions on your site were through and nicely laid out. I also wish that Sick Beard was a bit easier to get to. Getting Couch Potato and Headphones support would put it over the top.

Has almost everything...

Can handle SABnzbd, Sickbeard, and Couchpotato quite well (usually). And its pretty.Currently crashes when I try to manage Couchpotato, though. Wish it could preview NZBMatrix links (for example) in-app.

Good, but some issues.

This program is very good but its missing two essential items. I would like to see both comments and NFO files in the indexing site items. Also, the program will randomly crash sometimes.

removed features

Well, the latest update just ruined this app. Legal issues? I dont buy it, you still have NZB seach engines in the app and you expect us to believe that pile of crap?

Sad

Sad that the newest version removes support for features because of apples narrow view of how things work. Sure some will use it to pirate but not all and by apples logic safari should be removed because a user can use it to facilitate all kinds of illegal activity. Enough venting 5 stars and the hope you can modulize it so we can do what we want. @vcordor legal can be as simple as sickbeard competes with iTunes remove it or be banned. They dont have a problem with nzbs

This app is now empty

This app just lost 90% of its usefulness... Can anyone suggest an app which can control sickbeard and or couchpotato server? Aka the only real reason to have an app like this.

Useless

Removing sick ears makes this app useless. Where can I get a refund?

Great app!

Great app, nice clean interface with all the options I need. Love that I can set up search support for any newznab site.

The most complete SABnzbd remote

After trying out a few SABnzbd remotes, Ive settled on SABmini for the past few months. Its support for custom newznab servers is the best around, its interface is clean and the app itself is very solid (No spontaneous crashes). It has the features of every other SABnzbd remote plus more!

Excellent Design!

This app not only functions perfectly the design is just perfect.

Fantastic

This is one if my favorite apps. I use it daily. great app!. So fast with everything it does! Definitely worth it!

Perfect

Beautifully designed and fully functional.

Best out there

By far the cleanest and best option out there. All of the necessary features are present. Sickbeard and Couchpotato additions would be icing on the cake.

"Bad URL" Error STILL

Wanted to replace the myNZB app, but this app will not accept my host server (dyn hostname that works with every other app I have and port forwarding is correctly setup on my router). I keep getting a "-1000 Bad URL" error. Worthless to me until fixed. The design is nice, but thats the only positive thing I can say at the moment.

Excellent IOS 7 nzb monitor

The app is quite good. It painlessly interfaced with SabNzbd. It is consistent with iOS 7s look. Very happy with my purchase. I look forward to future updates. Highly recommended.

Good app but a couple tweaks would make it great

Using nzb.su works great. Allows me to browse categories, search within categories and even browse release groups (why? Maybe others find it helpful) One thing that is annoying is that it doesnt have the option to automatically connect to my server when I launch the app. Even worse while Im within the app the connection to the server times out and pops up with a -1001 error. Hit Retry and it connects again. Only app Ive used that does this.
